I found out about Loeffler Randall because of Instagram, and then I told my mom I liked the shoes. We found the shoes on Instagram and then I saw that the designer was on Instagram too! Her name is Jessie Loeffler Randall and she is really cool! And, I read that she likes pink. Totes! Her shoes have been in Vogue, Elle, like every magazine possible! I like her daughter's style too, and I really like when she shows off her clothes on her mom's Instagram. I was able to ask Miss Jessie some questions through email since she lives in New York and I'm in South Carolina. I hope I can get a pair of Loeffler Randall slides when my feet grow a little more because they are beautiful like art. I've been saving! I picked some of my favorite photos of her from her Instagram and from articles my mom helped me find. The title "If the Shoe Fits" is funny because Miss Jessie makes shoes and it's a saying that also means that if something works for you - do it. Just like Miss Jessie decided to do! - Bean

1. What is the best wedding you have ever went to? I’m not sure. I’ve liked different things from different weddings I’ve been to but don’t have one favorite.
2. What is your favorite book? “The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes” by Du Bose Heyward. It’s a children’s book - check it out.
3. What was your wedding like? We had our reception on a boat going around NYC and served Chipwiches instead of wedding cake.
4. Have you ever made a wedding dress? If not, or if you could, what would it look like? I designed my wedding dress (with a lot of help from a friend) and we had it made by a seamstress. I had an epiphany one day and realized that I wanted a short dress, not a long one. So it was a simple satin dress with spaghetti straps, fitted to the waist and then a circle skirt that came to just below my knee. It was lovely.

5. What is your favorite animal? My dog Romeo who passed away last year.
6. How many best friends do you have? I have many close friends who I could tell anything to. But I don’t have just one best friend. I’ve always been that way.
7. When did you decide that you liked being a designer? I always knew I liked designing. It was more a process of being brave enough to think I could become one.

8. What's your favorite shoe that you have ever designed? Oh wow this is a hard question. I guess my first shoe which was a pump because I named it after my grandmother Harriet.
9. Have you ever made a mistake in making a shoe? Always. Every day. I make mistakes constantly. It takes a lot of trying and mistakes in design to get to something beautiful.
10. What's your favorite purse? Right now, I love our crochet totes. So crafty and chic!
